If you grew up around here, or if you moved out this way to give your family some space, you know Northwest Indiana has a culture all its own. So if you're from around here, you already know. We grew up in it, we stayed for a reason, or we chose it because we wanted somewhere with a little more room to breathe and a little less attitude.
41 North Tavern started because we wanted a place that matched that feeling. Somewhere you walk in after a long week and just... relax. The ceilings are high, there's a real fireplace, and out back there's a patio that looks out over the pond , the kind of view that makes you forget what you were stressed about. We're in St. John, and yeah, we like it that way. The food is the kind of stuff you actually want to eat. Not fussy, not frozen, just done right.
